Nora is the size of a banana!
I really dropped the ball updating this! The last two weeks have been SO EXCITING! We found out baby is a GIRL! Nora Hope Minor. I love her already!
She usually only kicks after lunch, around 6, and around 9 or 10 pm. Maybe this means she'll be a good sleeper? :) mayyyyybe not.
The last few weeks have been CRAZY though! We had 2 snow days in a row on the day I was supposed to get my gender sonogram! We ended up showing up at the doctor's office the next day when they had a "late opening" and asking to be squeezed in between all the pregnant people that were there that had their appointments canceled, too, and they let us in! I was SO relieved! We got to see sweet baby Nora for the first time since 8 weeks and she was SO BEAUTIFUL! We still didn't know she was a girl, and I actually turned to Austin and said that based on the picture I think it's a boy! He said "aw man, really? I was really hoping for a girl." Little did we know.....
We had the ultrasound nurse put the gender in an envelope, and brought the envelope to one of my cousin's friends to make cupcakes with pink or blue filling.
2 days later we had a gender reveal party at Lindsay and David's house. It was a BLAST! My parents, Austin's parents, and Lindsay, David, and Meredith (Austin's sister), and my cousins Monica and Marcie came! Our plan was to open the envelope NOT in front of everyone, but when everyone was there it was so exciting and we decided to break open a cupcake in front of them. My reaction was SHOCK when I saw pink! I was SO excited!
This last week was Spring Break! (When I was 21 weeks). Here are some of the things I made in my free time!
Austin's TSHIRT Quilt
A fold-out changing pad/clutch
We built a gym
We also went to JBF, which is an event in Fort Worth where people sell of of their gently used baby items. Austin was a trooper :)
