2 month check up

Nora had her check up today. I'll write details when I get a free minute! !

Dallas Aquarium

Today we went to the aquarium!  It was a lot of fun! We left st around 1215 and Nora fell asleep on the way. We put her carrier on the stroller and pushed her around the aquarium.  It was more like a zoo... I wasn't impressed by the sea creatures as much as I would have hoped. We were there from 130-3 and then decided to go get lunch at a pizza place Austin liked. Nora was STILL  sound asleep. This is not like her. Usually during the day she takes two 1 - 1 1/2 hour naps and one 45 min nap. She slept through lunch and her nap ended up being 3 1/2 hours. I guess she was tired from last night....she didn't sleep well. When she woke up we were done eating so I nursed her at our booth. We had asked the waiter to put us in the back corner for this reason. On the way home we stopped at Braums  (ice cream ). I got chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream in a cone and Austin got a birthday cake shake.  It was a great day!!

This morning we left at 745am to go to Denton because Austin was speaking at the TCU retreat.

Doctors visit for rash

This poor, cute, chubby-but-not-chubby baby has a rash :( We THOUGHT it was from cat hair at my parents house, but it turns out experts say babies can't be allergic to animals until they're 1 year old. The doctor said it's from my hormones! Crazy! 

Nora weighs 10lbs 13oz and doctor says other than the rash she looks great and is gaining weight well!

Pops Minor visiting

Austin's dad was in town yesterday and today to do a funeral. He came by on Thursday night and we had cookie cake for Austin's birthday and then went to Pappasitos for dinner. Then on Friday morning he met us at the church to say hi before the funeral. He came over after the funeral for bit to play with Nora :)

In other news, Austin watched Nora today while I went to the doctor for my wrist. I have a hard mass on my bone that comes down about an inch below my thumb. It hurts! It's the hand I'm always holding Nora with. The doctor says it's called "mothers thumb" but that usually it doesnt have that mass. She sent me for an x-ray and I should hear back soon. She said it's either a part of the bone that is bent or it's a very hard cyst,,...

Ready to go meet up with grandmpa at the church! 

He brought Austin a cookie cake for his birthday!! It is HUGE!! And delicious :)

Just thought I would throw in a picture of her sleeping last night. It was hilarious. I tried to lower her arm and she put it right back up! :) Also, she's outgrown her newborn sleeper and I have to get up the courage to move her to her new bed.... :/

We ate at Pappasitos for dinner. Austin and my favorite restaurant!
