Her favorite places to play! Most recently it's her piano-- it makes a noise when she kicks each key. She LOVES kicking it. She's also getting really good at playing with toys hanging above her. She still loves mirrors and her piano toy has a mirror hanging :)
She's a rolling machine! She's rolled several times this morning back to tummy! On Monday she rolled tummy to back!
Today Nora and I went up to North Fort Worth go have lunch with an old friend I used to do musicals with!. ..in Illinois! She and her husband live in Fort Worth Texas now and she used to teach in North richland hills before her son was born. It was fun! Nora sat in her carseat the whole time and stared at me haha. Then I took her out at the end for a pic! I fed her on the car before we drove home and we took some pics together ;)
Nora has been sleeping so well! Usually a long stretch (last night 6 hours, record is 7) then 2 more stretches! Here's the record of her sleep the last week.
During the day all of a sudden she's taking long naps! Usually an hour in the early afternoon, 2 hours in the late afternoon, and 45 min in early evening. We start going to bed at 630 but usually she kind of eats and plays on and off until 8 or 9!
Well, yesterday Nora poked me in the eye. It hurt SO BADLY and every so often after that it would burn so badly that I would have to set her down and cry...which hurt even worse. This morning we went to the Costco eye doctor as soon as it opened at 10am. She said "you have a big scratch going across your cornea. It could cause permanent damage because you didn't come in soon enough "
Basically Austin went back in to ask questions and she said if the antibiotics don't completely fix it then I'll have light sensitivity and some scarring. I shouldn't have vision damage. Here we are waiting for the doctor:
Ive been REALLY crazing Jersey Mikes recently! I texted the Ms and lindsay to see if they wanted to go and Marcie was working but lindsay and Monica could. It was fun! Caden learned to say "bye " and was saying it to people that left. He says it "bye-you" hehe. Like usual he was very interested in Nora!
After lunch we went to the resale shop :)
My new strategy for making Nora's clothes! Its so much easier to get things done now that she can sit up (assisted). She LOVES sitting in her bumbo. She can be crying and the second she's sitting she's fine! I usually put her in it when I have to sew something, when I'm making coffee, heating up lunch, or making a bottle.
If she's hungry she'll start leaning forward and trying to eat the middle part :)
