15 Week Bump Update

Baby is the size of an ORANGE!

Mom is feeling...
Really good! I have noticed that recently I have to use the restroom a lot more frequently than I did in the first trimester, which is strange. I also have been getting some headaches in the afternoon, which is a common 14-15 week symptom. Other than that, I feel fine.

Food cravings/aversions:
I always want fruit lately! I'm still craving yogurt with grapes in it, so I eat that a lot. I also still make smoothies with fruits and veggies in them for breakfast every morning. For dinner the past week Austin and I had loaded baked potatoes (sharp cheddar, greek yogurt, and brisket on top), pesto pasta, brisket sandwiches, and one night I just had yogurt and grapes because I didn't want anything else. :) I also still have the craving of goldfish, and pretty much carry a ziplock with me everywhere in case I get hungry. It's an easy thing to walk around my classroom snacking on.

The biggest surprise this pregnancy is that I just do not want mexican food. I usually LOVE it but even when I think it sounds good as soon as we get there I don't want anything. Every time we've been out with friends and family to a mexican restaurant I've gotten tortilla soup and pretty much just eat the broth. I don't even want guacamole, which is the biggest shocker. It is for this reason that I think the baby is a girl....and that she will be exactly like Lindsay. Everything I've craved is something Lindsay loves.

Bump update:
There's a bump! It is definitely more obvious when I'm wearing maternity pants (thanks for all the pants, Lindsay!). My old pants still fit, and when I wear those it is hard to see there is a bump because it is kind of cut in half. But in these pants they are so low and have the stretch band all the way up so it makes the belly more rounded. My bare belly is a little bit lower than it looks with the belly band on.

Looking forward to...
My dad will be in town a few days this week, Austin's mom is in town tomorrow, and I get to see family this weekend!!!!
