First Doctors Appointment

Today Nora had her first doctors appointment at Fort Worth Pediatrics. Her doctor wasn't in the office today so she had one of the other doctors in the group. I was so nervous about the appointment, thinking what if she screams and I cant sooth her??

We had to set our alarms for 720 because her appointment was at 8am. I woke her up at the last minute and changed  her clothes and we got in the car. When we got to the doctor Austin went inside to start the paperwork and I nursed Nora in the car. We then came inside and she was asleep. I was too nervous to sit down in the waiting room so I stood bouncing her ha. When the doctor checked her out she was so cute!! She was just staring at him, completely alert, and let him poke and prod. They checked her levels to see if she is jaundice and she passed! She has lost some weight, and is now 7lbs 15oz, down 8% which is normal for big baby at birth and since my milk hasn't come in yet.

 She then fell asleep while he was answering our questions and we left with a sleeping, happy, healthy baby! Einsteins Bagels is across the street from the doctor so you know we had to stop there for her first outing. We were going to go through the drive thru but it's been so long since we've been out that we ate in. She slept the whole time. So sweet!

Grandma has been coming over everyday with food and cuddles!!!
